Hampshire County Council's 'Africa Day'

Sethani UK were one of the three beneficiaries of Hampshire County Council's recent 'Africa Day'.  We had an excellent time meeting with the many other exhibitors and guests and enjoying the African menu in The Castle Restaurant. 

We have received an amazing total of £946.82 which will enable us to go ahead on not just one, but all four proposed projects - the purchase of a jungle gym for the Sethani Centre and start up projects in vegetable gardening, cooking and sewing.  Many thanks to Marcos Frangos and the Africa Day team for their excellent organisation of this event.

Donations

Thank you to MelodyArt for their generous donation which will be used to purchase art materials and to fund art workshops at the Sethani Centre.

Sethani UK has recently provided a £600 grant to buy books for the newly-completed resource centre.
