Sethani
UK Christmas Cards

We've
recently partnered with Studio 51
who give 51% of the cost of each pack of Christmas cards purchased
from their site to the charity selected by the purchaser.
There's a wide range of quality cards which come with a pre-printed
Sethani UK label which can be affixed to the back of the card.
We could receive £2.55 from the purchase of a £4.99 pack of cards,
with a minimum order of only two packs. For more information,
please visit Studio 51.

Project Visit
Our last trustee
visit to South Africa took place in August 2007 and it was encouraging
to see the progress that is being made in KwaNgcolosi. The
wooden hut, refurbished with funding provided by members of the
Winchester Family Church team in 2004, has electricity, water and a
flushing toilet and is currently in use as much-needed staff
accommodation.

The play
equipment provided with funding from Hampshire County Council's
'Africa Day', has recently been painted by Eton College during their
rugby tour and the cooker provided for the Resource Centre has been in
use for workshops and functions. |

Grants
Grants from
Sethani UK have played an increasingly significant part in the funding
of Sethani South Africa, providing over 15% of their total budget last
year. A very generous donation by Eton College has
provided funds for a passenger vehicle and we have recently
transferred over R290,000 to enable this purchase together with grants
for IT software & support for the Resource Centre and additional
funding for food parcels.
