Land's End to John O'Groats Bike Ride

Many thanks to Fred Bethell, Rhys Mansell and Charlie Landale from Eton College who cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats raising over £8000!

Thank you also to Marcos Frangos and the team from HCC who donated the proceeds of Black History Day. 

Visitors to the Castle restaurant could select from a specially prepared African-Caribbean menu, view African art, listen to steel drumming and enter an African-Caribbean quiz.

We also had the opportunity to show visitors how their donations from HCC Africa Day 2005 had made a difference.  These have been used to establish cooking and vegetable gardening projects, and in the installation of a jungle gym at the Sethani Centre.
